Building Fund Pledges –Our land acquisition plans are progressing well but we need everyone to support the VISION! Pastor encourages everyone to be faithful in keeping your pledges /vows for the building fund because the harvest is truly great! If we build, they will come!
Today - 4th Sunday Health Check – The Health Professionals Ministry will conduct health checks which consists of monitoring blood pressure, respirations, temperature, pulse and blood sugar if needed. The Scripture declares: It is God's will for us to prosper and be in good health even as our souls prosper! [3 John 2] Get checked out!
Saturday, July 11, 2009 - The Women on the Move Walking Club will meet at the church at 8:30AM. Please see Sis. Mars or Sis. C. Nesmith for details.
Friday, July 17, 2009 at 6PM – Co-Pastor will be one of the guest speakers at the Diamond Ministries Women’s Conference at the Clarion Hotel, Davenport, IA. Please plan to attend and support our Co-Pastor as she brings forth the Word of God!
Friday - Sunday, July 24 - 26 - Annual MAN on FIRE Conference! Pastor Jermone Glenn of Revolution Christian Ministries, Grand Rapids, MI will be in town with a Word for the men of God. On Saturday morning, there will be a For Men Only workshop. Pastor requests that all of the men plan their schedules accordingly in order to support this important event.
Monday, July 27, 2009 - An important community meeting will be held at the church at 6:30PM. Residents of Douglas Park, Old Chicago, and Longview should plan to attend.
Saturday, August 1, 2009 – Annual Church BBQ and Back-to-School Celebration at West Lake Park from 11AM to sundown. There will be food, fun, and games for all ages!
Saturday, August 8 - ROCK THE RIVER Tour!! HOFM is one of many local churches partnering with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association for an awesome opportunity to reach this generation with the Gospel! The all day event targeting young people will be held at LeClaire Park, Davenport, IA. Please plan to attend! See Sis. Melannie for ways that you can become involved and help win souls for Christ!!
Prayer Warriors and Intercessors - Do you love to pray? You may be called by God to stand in the gap for others! If you would like to learn more about this exciting ministry and/or join the team, join us on Saturday evenings at 5 o’clock.
